Meet The Physician
Dr. Willie Tsiu is has been practicing pediatrics in Memphis for more than 30 years. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Memphis State University and his M.D. degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis.
Dr. Tsiu completed his pediatric residency training at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital through the University of Tennessee Pediatric program. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and was named one of “America’s Top Pediatricians” in 2008 by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Tsiu has been on the best doctors in America list as compiled by Best Doctors, INC. since 2008. Best Doctors, Inc. compiles this list soley on recommendations by local peers.
Dr. Tsiu has helped publish two medical articles: one in Pediatric Infectious Disease journal in 1987 and the other in Hormone in Metabolic Research in 1982.
Dr. Tsiu has lived in Memphis since early childhood and considers himself a native Memphian even though he was born in Hong Kong. He is married and has three wonderful children.
Interests
Dr. Tsiu is an active member of First Chinese Baptist Church where he serves as a teacher. He has also participated in several medical mission trips to Mexico and Peru. He is a volunteer pediatrician for the Church Health Center. He has served as a clinical pediatric instructor for the University of Tennessee Family Medicine program at St. Francis Hospital.
